The Full Disclosure
I will be open and honest. I am an engineer by training having received my Bachelors's and Ph.D. degrees from the most reputable colleges in India and the USA, And yet I have spent more time studying human nature, what makes people happy, and angry, and what triggers their emotions.
I have never attended any professional photography school. But for over 5 decades I have been taking pictures of my family and friends and have received many compliments from them. Many have told me that the pictures I took are decorating their walls. They have encouraged me to spend more time and energy on this and get into it on a professional level and to make my services available to many others.
Let’s face it
Anyone with a smartphone can tap the button and snap a picture. The cameras in the smartphones are very good. They take high-resolution sharp pictures. You do not need me for these shots. Where I excel is that I engage people in conversation, I play with them, I tease them and when their natural genuine emotions show up, I capture those moments. Anyone looking at those pictures days/months/years/generations later will feel that you had a good time, that that was one of the best times of your life.
